COLOR BURST ON WINTER

Are you the kind of person who likes to be in the center of attention? Or a soul who is afraid to stand out? This winter is the perfect time to reveal your strong personality or  to unleash your long-hidden inner diva.

Last fall was all about that natural yet calm look and some people are still into “no make-up” makeup. December is all about being vibrant and fierce, and that calls for bold and daring makeup. This is the time to paint a deep red on your lips and put the spotlight on your face. Don’t let the cold drag you down but instead, let makeup spark your spirit. Which one of your facial features are you most proud of? The eyes, or lips? Pick one to focus on and play with, and watch yourself transform into the diva you are.

EYES

If you saw the daring eye makeup from the recent runways, the look varies from all the colors in the palette but mostly the warm ones.

Let It Shine

We talked about putting the spotlight on your face earlier. Yes, let your eyes shine with light! Shimmering gold and bronze palette might be the best idea to make your face glow. Pair gold or bronze with black  eyeliner and mascara, just like Kiernan Shipka. She’s wearing Laura Mercier’s Caviar Stick in Moonlight, Laura Mercier’s Tightline Cake Eyeliner in Black, and Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara in Black.

Pour the Rainbow on Me

When you’re feeling adventurous, dab on more colors onto your eyelid. Whilst the Amazonian look is more prominent on the runway, why don’t we experiment and rock these warrior shades in real life too? Get bold with a broad spectrum of color. Soon enough you will beam along with the disco floor.

Ombre was all the fervor in South Korea campaigned by Korean celebrities and idols. Now, ombre lips has gone global. Paint the light and breeze lip tint to look like Korean ulzzang (people with naturally pretty face) or rosy and bloody colored lipstick for more mysterious look. Very Berry

If you are more of the classic and glam woman, this goes perfectly for you. The current trend, matte lipstick, is your helper. The secret to red lips is to get the shade that match your skin tone. Orange-based red for tan to dark skin, brown-based red for caramel tone, blue-red hue for neutral skin, and pinkish red for fair skin.
